The file “snd Editor for ResEdit 2.1” contains a pre-final version of a sound resource editor for ResEdit 2.1. It will not work with versions of ResEdit prior to ResEdit 2.1. Because the sound resource editor is not final, there are still bugs in it and the feature set is not complete. BE CAREFUL AND SAVE A LOT!

  5. A major bug with the compression routines that caused crashes was fixed in this version. Compression, decompression, and header changes are completely safe as far as I can tell.

  9. • Editing compressed data will result in a garbled sound.
  10. • I've had it crash while editing sound data, so be careful.
